It's really hard to believe that three months have passed since Easter. Emma and Henry both looked adorable in their Easter outfits and were very excited this year about the egg hunt.

Emma's had a bicycle for quite some time now and is really quite good at riding. I wanted to expand her range a bit so one afternoon we headed across the street into the canyon to let her ride on a wide open path. A trip back the next day ended in disaster.

When we moved in in 2001 we lived with original appliances until we just couldn't take it anymore. In 2003 we painted the cabinets. Tomorrow we throw it all away begin the nearly two month project of bringing our 16 year old kitchen into the modern era.

It is amazing to me that it can take 8 weeks to rebuild our kitchen but only a day to deconstruct most of the existing one. On the first day of our remodel two guys spent approximately 4 hours removing cabinets and counters.
