Bison in Georgia
As if my surprise appearance weren't enough, Dad arranged a surprise birthday lunch for my mother at the Wolf Mountain Vineyards. After an afternoon nap it was back to the farm to visit with the bison. They were a bit more frisky this time, thundering down the hill for food.

Stellar Meadow
Picking a countertop was tough for us. We looked at a dozen marbles and two dozen granites. A Silestone top called "Stellar Meadow" caught our eye but Marla and I joked that it was the kind of thing you liked but would never buy. So, of course, we did.

Bamboo, I Choose You!
Our carpet was approaching 8 years old so and after two kids it was beginning to show. We opted to replace the floor with hardwood during our kitchen remodel.
