It’s not often that we get visitors out here on the lonely, smoky West Coast. We were very excited, then, when Aunt Dot paid us a visit earlier this summer. This was the first time that Emma and Henry had met a “great” on Marla’s side of the family.
California has been under siege since Sunday from wildfires. We’ve had an incredibly dry spell the past two years, with literally only a couple inches falling each of the past two seasons. Couple that with our annual Santa Ana winds and you’ve got a perfect recipe for disaster.
Henry and Emma had been to a birthday party not too long before and had gotten waterguns as party favors. Watching kids with their first waterguns is a treat, let me tell you. Henry had a great time, not only squirting me but also himself!
Wait, what? Two days and two new sets of pictures? Yes, oh, yes!
This set wraps up most of June. You’ll find cute pictures of the kids at the Modjeska Wilderness with their playgroup, some birthday party pictures and Henry’s first visit to the dentist.
In the meantime we’re long overdue for some pictures of the kids in action. How long overdue? Well… let’s just say that some of these pictures date back to May. If you’ve seen Emma and Henry recently then you’d likely notice the change.
