San Francisco: Day 3

Our third day in the city had us heading down to Crissy Field to enjoy a little time on the beach and soak in the view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Our first few photos here were taken by budding photographer Emma Grace.

After playing in the sand and meeting a few pug owners we headed across the street to the Palace of Fine Arts. The Palace is a gorgeous place to explore but, unfortunately, is undergoing some renovation which meant we couldn’t take a stroll under the dome.

No matter, though, the Exploratorium is right next door. Though they have museums everywhere none are quite as hands-on as this one. The kids truly loved it. Henry was even willing to take a drink from the toilet/water fountain (“A Sip of Conflict” in the MIND exhibit).

By the end of it we were all museum-ed out and returned to the hotel for a much, much needed nap.
