Our holiday party is typically the one time of year when our mostly t-shirt and jeans crowd actually puts on collared shirts or – gasp – a dress. In addition to the “adult” dress-up we also did a little make believe dress-up for our Rock Band competition.

There were endless complaints about the Guitar Hero II controller for the Xbox 360 from people at work, all of whom are Guitar Hero freaks. To put a common complaint (“built for toddlers”) to the test I enlisted the help of real, live toddler research subjects.
IGN/GameSpy is Born

- IGN/GameSpy websites reach 25 million unduplicated, unique visitors per month and had nearly 1 billion page views in January 2004
Merger in the Works

Mark announced yesterday that GameSpy and our rival IGN intended to merge. Together we’ll be the largest gaming-related site on the Internet.
