Marla used to have caroling parties when she was in high school so when we got an invite from a friend to go this year with the kids, she jumped at the chance to introduce Emma and Henry.
Emma was in rare form the day these pictures were taken. Early in the day she wanted to dress up and pose for the camera. The white straw hat put it over the top. Later in the day she and Henry took turns making sweet music (sort of) with my guitar.
There’s nothing quite so sweet as a pre-school performance, is there? Need proof? witness the photos and bonus video! What could make the day more special? When grandparents (Mandel, in this case) are in town to see it, too.
We started out the weekend rockin’ with The Donnas and ended up partying like a bunch of three year olds. It was awesome!
Flipping through the channels before bed Saturday night we happened upon The Donnas performing on INHD. Being the rocker that she is, Emma had to watch – despite it being past bedtime. And, being the musical tour de force that she is, Emma had to sing along.
