Several weeks ago Emma and I took a special Daddy/Daughterfield trip to the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana for the Gazillion Bubble Show.

(Did you know that Santa Ana has the highest population density of any city in America over 50,000? Nearly twice as dense as New York City!)

The amazing Fan Yang puts on an hour-long show with the most amazing bubbles ever blown. Who knew that bubbles could delight and entertain a crowded auditorium for so long? Emma was rapt with attention for the entire hour!

| 06.05.2006 | washington d.c. at night

I've been travelling a good bit for work the past two months. In fact, I think last week was the first full week I've spent at home since April! Chicago, Washington D.C., Boston, Baltimore, San Francisco... It all kind of runs together after a while!

I was able to mix some business with pleasure. In Chicago I was able to have lunch with Darren Tabor, who I hadn't seen in nearly a year. In D.C. I managed to catch up with Elizabeth Ransom, who I hadn't seen in probably three years and is now a fancy-pants professor at the University of Richmond.

I also managed to snap a few memorable pictures of D.C. at night. Hope you enjoy!
