Despite being a month early, Cora spent just two days in the hospital and we were home by Tuesday. Emma and Henry enjoyed their two days of visits with their new sister and Marla basked in the extra attention the nurses gave her. Continue reading

We had a surprising number of planned activities in May. Whether the Nanny Goats Gruff play or the “fitness day” at school, pictured here, swimming in the pool and dressing like princes and princesses, we seemed busy.

The house was mobbed by cute girls and the air was thick with giggles and dancing. Emma’s 6th birthday party was a princess party, a departure from past non-girlie themes which have included NASCAR and ducks. Continue reading

We had a nice, wet January and February and the spring was gorgeous. Lush green on all of the hills and flowers popping out all over. We went on a bike ride across the street in O’Neill Park just as the wildflowers were nearing their peak bloom. Continue reading
