Day 12: Coming Home

Today was our last day in Hawaii. We had only a few hours this morning to soak in a few last glimpses of our glorious Kealakekua Bay views and gorge ourselves on fresh-picked mangos (I ate two) before we had to leave for the airport. (No pictures today, sorry!)

It was an amazing adventure and I can't wait to have many more with Marla and the kids. This was our first big trip as a family and, even though there were definitely some moments when tempers flared, I can't wait to do it again.

Note to Readers: I tried to dilligently write as much as possible while we were actually in Hawaii. I knew that I'd forget things we did, places we had visited and the like otherwise. Thanks for putting up with the weird, past-tense posts over the past few weeks. Hope you enjoyed the "journal" and the pictures.

And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming...
