First Foray into Digital IR
My Hoya R72 arrived from B&H Photo and I was eager to try out my first digital IR shots. I’d read lots about digital IR but had seen very little specific to shooting with the 10D.

A Summer of Weddings
The summer was filled with weddings, it seems. My brother, friends from work and Rochester and a cousin. Good opportunities to capture little Miss Emma all dressed up!

We were blessed with lots of great sunsets in August. I, of course, tried to capture them on “film.” Also put up a few shots of Emma helping me put together a bookshelf.

Flowers and Such
I posted a number of pictures I’ve taken recently of flowers, tomatoes and other things. Misc flowers and fireworks photos I had a pretty good time trying to take pictures of the 4th of July fireworks.

Hooray! I got my first ratings over at photo.net – without even requesting a critique. My “Post With Barbed Wire at Sunset” didn’t get high marks, but that’s OK with me. As long as they’re not bad!
