Emma took to the stage again last week for her second piano recital. The spring recital was nature-themed and Emma’s piece was called “Shooting Stars” by Elizabeth Greenleaf. She was, once again, delighted to be performing for the crowd.
The spring recital was also a “graduation” of sorts for several students who were finishing high school and moving on to college. The two graduating seniors had been taking lessons from Mrs. Hess, Emma’s teacher, for over 10 years. It was hard to imagine sitting in the same hall 10 years from now and hearing Emma give a short speech on what music meant to her.
I’ll stick to 1 minute piano solos for now.
I loved it! What a star!
