These photos are from Henry’s second t-ball game, where the Kansas City Royals faced off against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

By this second game the coaches had figured out how to properly place helmets on the kids’ heads, making sure they could see when they hit. Everyone had learned where first base was and were eager to run there after a hit.

There were also many fewer tackling incidents when playing the field than during the first t-ball game but, as you can see, the team still had a little something to learn about playing defense. (That’s “defence” for you Canadians.)

After a well-played game Henry was treated by a hug from Emma, who was quite proud of his outstanding performance.
