Look at me, Ma! Marla has taken a few cute shots of Our Boy Henry over the past few days that I had to share without delay. First is a play-by-play series of Henry’s first taste of delicious sand.
Henry has his first tooth! It’s a little out of focus in the picture below, but you should be able to make it out.
What a day! Yes, we all felt the earthquake, although it was only Mommy and Daddy who realized that something was up.
Our sweet Henry Owen passed the four month mark last week and had his check-up with Dr. Dyer on Monday.
Henry has the most amazing smile. He started really showing it off the first week of April and now smiles constantly, as evidenced in the pictures. We’ve even had a few full-on giggles in the past few days.
My parents were out last week for their first visit since Henry was born. Grandma Northcutt stayed with us while poor ol’ Granpaw Northcutt had to go to work each day.
A few weeks after Marla started breastfeeding Henry she started getting anxious, worrying about if he was getting enough, if her supply would keep up, etc.
We had our weekly doctor visit on Monday checking on Henry’s growth. We were all pleasantly surprised to find that he’d gained a whopping 13 ounces in just one week!

My dad, AKA Grandpaw, was in town just after Christmas on business. Despite being over 50 miles away in glorious Rancho Cucamonga he struggled through LA traffic to meet his second grandchild.
