I’ve posted many videos of Emma over the past few years as she’s progressed with her piano lessons. What you haven’t seen much of is Henry. He’s turned into quite the little musician, too.
He gets into his music in a very different way than Emma and I think it’s apparent in the video. Watch the way his whole body gets into the music, especially in the Dill Pickle Stomp. Movement isn’t unusual: he’s constantly moving – generally in a frenetic and ungraceful manner. But when there’s a tune going his body falls right in line.
Sing us a song, you’re the piano man
Sing us a song tonight.
Well we’re all in the mood for a melody
And you got us feeling alright.
You can also hear his cherubic voice in Baby Face. Hearing him play and sing is a delight and makes all of the arguing and frustration during lessons worth it once he’s broken through and has the piece under his control.
I’ll step away and let Henry speak for himself.

Bravo, Henry! Bravo! You the Boogie Woogie Boy!!!
