Cora danced her little heart out in the Marin Dance Academy’s spring performance in early June. Dancers large and small spent the afternoon showing what they’d learned through the year.

There is a girl named Cora. She has a way with animals, as you can see. People call her The Chicken Whisperer.

A Girl and Her Hen
Cora Belle, age 4. Bence, age 6 weeks.

Cake is awesome and so are little girls.

But, still, supremely sweet.
Cora Rides
Despite her age and her size, Cora is determined to do everything that her older brother and sister might do. This includes carrying a backpack, doing “homework”, playing piano and riding a bicycle.

It’s hard to believe that she’s three already. Walking, talking, dancing and giggling with delight. Who could have imagined how wonderful she would turn out to be?

There’s a great song by Lemon Jelly called In The Bath that immediately came to mind as I was working up this set. Please listen to it as you run through these pictures. We’re no strangers to Lemon Jelly: Nice Weather for Ducks was one of Emma’s favorites as a baby.
