While we were home for Thanksgiving we were able to head attend my new niece’s baptism in lovely Hoschton, Georgia. She did very well, not crying a bit as some kids often do. Afterwards we went to a nearby park for a family photo op. Continue reading
After recovering from their bout with the flu, Granma and Granpa were ready for more fun with the kids. We returned to the farm for one last visit, this time down to the banks of the Broad River. We ended the day by having dinner with an old friend. Continue reading
Emma was recently sent to her room as punishment. She begged and pleaded for a light sentence but ended up serving hard time. When her time was up she rejoined society and had a pair of presents for Mommy and Daddy. Continue reading

My brother volunteered his new house for Thanksgiving dinner this year. It was to be a huge feast, with both our immediate family and his wife Jessica’s family present. They were expecting, all told, about 20 grandchildren, children, parents, grandparents and cousins. A great way to break in a new place, don’t you think?
Just before Thanksgiving we took a trip to the family farm for an old fashioned hayride. Granted, there was no hay since we’re all allergic, but there were blankets and warm coats and a trailer full of grandchildren, cousins, brothers and wives. Continue reading
