Despite her age and her size, Cora is determined to do everything that her older brother and sister might do. This includes carrying a backpack, doing “homework”, playing piano and riding a bicycle.

Biking in O’Neill Park
We had a nice, wet January and February and the spring was gorgeous. Lush green on all of the hills and flowers popping out all over. We went on a bike ride across the street in O’Neill Park just as the wildflowers were nearing their peak bloom. Continue reading
Birthday Boy Rides Again
Henry turned three in December and put a check mark next to one of the required rites of passage for children: getting a first bicycle. We gave it to him on his actual birthday and let him tool around for a bit ahead of his party on the weekend. Continue reading
I Want To Ride My Bicycle

Crash! in the Canyon
Emma’s had a bicycle for quite some time now and is really quite good at riding. I wanted to expand her range a bit so one afternoon we headed across the street into the canyon to let her ride on a wide open path. A trip back the next day ended in disaster. Continue reading
