Fancy Duds
This year we were lucky enough to have both of our major holidays (Passover and Easter) occur on the same weekend. We ate like kings and spent a lot of time enjoying traditions thousands of years old.

Time for our annual Easter family photo! As we all get bigger (Well, except Marla. She seems to get skinnier all the time!) we have a harder and harder time standing still. Continue reading
Happy Easter! The Northcutts celebrated another Easter in style this year, dressing to the 9’s and turning heads from RSM to posh Newport Beach.
Among our key accomplishments this year were getting the entire family dressed and ready for church in time for the 8 AM service. New records were set that may stand for a generation or more. Following a great service at Shepherd of the Hills UMC in Mission Viejo we headed to Newport Beach for a fantastic brunch at Roy’s.

Gearing up for Easter this year Marla and the kids attended a playgroup egg hunt. Yes, it is July. And, yes, I did say Easter. So just enjoy the pictures and leave me alone, OK? :)
Easter was especially fun this year since Henry was mobile and able to participate a bit more than last year. We started out the day with a trip to church and followed that with some “formal” family portraits and then moved on to the egg hunt. Continue reading
“We’re going to Easter!” was what Emma squealed as we piled into the car and headed to church on Sunday. She was quite excited thanks to all the talk of eggs, bunnies and, of course, ducks over the past few days.
As promised, I’ve gotten around to putting up pictures from our second Easter egg hunt. This one was on Easter Sunday, after a tasty breakfast of bacon and matzoh brei. (Like that mixing of traditions?)
