When searching for information on historical iPhone sales earlier today I was shocked to discover that no one had simply tabulated quarterly and cumulative sales of the iPhone. I found a few posts related to the rise in Safari traffic on websites and some information for the first few quarters but little for Apple’s Fiscal 2008.
You may be thinking, “Fushimi Inari whaaa?” but I can assure you that you know exactly what I’m talking about. If you’re ever in Kyoto, definitely visit Fushimi. If you’ve ever in Fushimi definitely skip the sparrow. You’ll thank me on both counts. Continue reading
Marla and I have been Netflix subscribers for a long time now, starting just before Emma was born in 2002. Initially this is because we didn’t trust a babysitter to watch our little treasure. (Now, of course, we couldn’t find a babysitter crazy enough to watch all three.)
During a visit to Kyoto in 2007 I had the chance to tour the Imperial Palace. These grounds were where the emperor lived until the government moved to Tokyo in the late 19th century. (See photos of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo here.)
We thought it might happen at Christmas and give us cause to sing that old song, “All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth…” but it came and went with Emma’s two front teeth merely wobbling. As of this morning, though, both of the shiny white front teeth are gone! Continue reading
We stayed home this year for Thanksgiving. It was a bit smaller than I’m used to from childhood (no “kids table” filled with cousins) but it was nice not having to travel.
