Fushimi Inari Taisha

Imperial Palace in Kyoto

Two Front Teeth

Time for Thanksgiving

We stayed home this year for Thanksgiving. It was a bit smaller than I’m used to from childhood (no “kids table” filled with cousins) but it was nice not having to travel.
Our menu was excellent, as usual. Continue reading →

I Am Girl

Cora, a mere four months old in these pictures, already has a bit of cunning hidden in her grin. Today she grins and poops on me… Tomorrow? She’ll grin and take my keys. Continue reading →

November Blur

November was a blur in the Northcutt household. We’re finally getting into a routine with Cora. She continues to sleep through the night (mostly) and take fairly regular naps, which makes life a little easier with the other two kids. Continue reading →

Emma has been taking piano lessons for several months now, all building up to The Big Recital. We practiced “Good King Wenceslas” at home dozens of times over the past six weeks. Continue reading →

Emma’s first grade class performed “The Gingerbread Man” as their holiday play. She was one of the trees, who’s sole line was, “Too bad!”
